2025 Talent Advancement Program (TAP): Video Production

 Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge is relaunching the Talent Advancement Program (TAP), a workforce development initiative designed to address the growing need for subject matter expertise within the Greater Baton Rouge creative sector. 

 

This year’s program will be offering professional training in video production, providing a combination of course work and hands-on training from area professionals. 

 

Participants must be 18 years or older. The career track is comprised of 10 sessions and taking place at the Cary Saurage Community Arts Center. After completing TAP, graduates will be added to Arts Council’s roster of subject-matter experts for future work opportunities and job placement. 

 Coursework Includes:
 TAP : Video Production Outline
 Week 1 : Intro to the Program
 Week 2 : Pre-Production Theory ➔ Creative Briefs➔ Call Sheets➔ Crew Sheets➔ Shots Lists ➔ Storyboards
 Week 3 : Practical Application Pre-Production ➔ Create Pre-Production Documents for AC TAP Spot
 Week 4 : Production Theory ➔ Camera ➔ Lighting ➔ Audio
 Week 5 : Location Scouting
 Week 6 : Practical Application Production➔ Move into production for AC TAP Spot
 Week 7 : Post Production I ➔ Selects➔ Pre-Edit
 Week 8 : Site Visits
 Week 9 : Post Production II ➔ Edit➔ GFX/Animation
 Week 10 : Final Review / Presentation ➔ Present AC TAP Program Video
