An Exhibition for Arts Council Members
The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge invites current members to participate in Members 2026, a group exhibition celebrating the artists who make up our creative community.
Open exclusively to Arts Council members, this exhibition provides an opportunity to showcase recent work, connect with fellow artists, and share your creative practice with the public. With no required theme, artists are encouraged to submit work that reflects their unique voice, interests, and current direction.
From painting and photography to sculpture, mixed media, fiber arts, and beyond, Members 2026 highlights the breadth of talent represented throughout our membership.
Eligibility
- Open exclusively to current Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge members.
- Membership must be active at the time of submission and throughout the exhibition period.
- All visual art media are welcome.
Submission Information
- Artists may submit up to [5] artworks.
- Include title, medium, dimensions, and sale price (or NFS) for each work.
- Artist must submit an artist statement.
- All artwork must be original and ready for exhibition display.
Artwork Not Accepted
To ensure a safe and professional exhibition, the following will not be accepted:
- Artwork that is not the original work of the submitting artist.
- AI-generated artwork or artwork created primarily through generative artificial intelligence.
- Artwork that infringes upon another person’s copyright, trademark, or intellectual property.
- Fan art or work that uses copyrighted characters, logos, or imagery without authorization.
- Artwork that is not exhibition-ready, including work that is wet, unstable, improperly framed (when framing is required), or lacks appropriate hanging hardware.
- Artwork that presents a safety risk due to size, weight, construction, or materials.

- Submission Deadline: November 15, 2026
- Artwork Drop-Off: December 7, 2026
- Opening Reception: TBD
- Exhibition Dates: December 13- Jan 29, 2027
- Artwork Pick-Up: February 2027
